- Fixed: Partial lists copied from web pages can now be pasted correctly.
- Fixed: Styles with a light font weight now correctly display bold emphasis in the inspector.
- Fixed: Placeholder in image areas without content is not visible in PNG exports any more.
- Fixed: PNG and PDF exports correctly handle documents borders.
- Fixed: Image areas with rounded rectangles could sometimes render a black background instead of transparency.

- Improved: Creating a new list preserves the currently active text style

- Fixed: Wrong sizes for generated desktop PDFs were corrected.
- Fixed: Updated Design Ideas get marked as “updated” instead of “new”
- Fixed: Changing style properties like font size no longer strips emphasis on existing text

Version 5.3 introduces default text styles and several small improvements to make newsletter creation more consistent and convenient:

- Login now takes place via browser instead of natively
- Document language for automatic hyphenation can be set in the document options
- Hyphenation for new documents can be configured in the app settings
- Layout block backgrounds are now transparent instead of white
- Document subject can be edited directly in the AI popover
- Fixed an issue that frequently triggered the “A local copy of the selected TeamCloud design was found” dialog
- Web fonts in image areas of older documents now load correctly
- Added new social media icons: Threads, Mastodon, and Bluesky
- Updated icons for Facebook, WeChat, and Pinterest; removed Twitter
- New documents are slightly wider on mobile by default (420px instead of 375px)
- Cut, copy, and paste in inspector text fields now works more reliably (previously broken when a layout block was selected)
