Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use external images with Mail Designer 365?
When you use Mail Designer 365's HTML export, your design is exported as an HTML file plus separate image files. For recipients to see those images correctly, the image files need to be hosted online.
Many newsletter services handle image hosting for you when you upload the HTML file and image folder. If your sending service does not host images, upload the exported images to your own web server and enter the image URL prefix during HTML export.
Mail Designer 365 does not hotlink directly to images already on your website, because images need to be adjusted precisely for reliable email rendering. Instead, export the images from Mail Designer 365 and host those exported files.
For the export workflow, see the HTML export FAQ.
